The Electron festival, converging point between electronic musicand arts, was born from the eponymous association's impulse in2004. Its initial ambition was to create a Geneva-based artisticplatform for showcasing electronic music projects from different Swiss and international artists. Since 2004, the association offers a 4-day festival with a wide range of styles from the world ofelectronic music.The Electron festival is now scheduled on a fixed date: it takesplace during Easter Vacation in eight specific sites within the heart ofthe city of Geneva. Electron has become one of the major festivals in Switzerland ofthis kind. Each year it welcomes more than one hundred artists and 10 000 people, coming from Switzerland and abroad. Since 2008, Electron has expanded its offer to include otherelectronic music related fields, such as contemporary danceperformances, electronic music & cinema, conferences andinstallations.www.electronfestival.ch

Le bureau du festival est devenu une veritable fourmillière. Pour toute l’équipe qui a travaillé d’arrache-pied ces derniers mois, c’est un véritable sentiment d’euphorie.
